Oh! I see!! □ So that “ the planned love” could have a chance?!!! Wawu ▪️ Why would a lady be put in the isolation unit with men? I saw other ladies in the movie, she could have been placed with them. ▪️ Why was Mr and Mrs Amokachi released from the hospital at the same time when both of them never went in at the same time? So why the unnecessary risk? And then she never went into isolation immediately after her contact with him or even wear protective gear as she parades around the hospital. ▪️ Why should Dr Njoku risk her life going to see patient zero wearing inadequate protective gear whilst knowing the patient was infected? Did she have a death wish? Was she suicidal? If she was, it wasn’t indicated in the movie. Are there really reasons to dislike Lockdown?įor me, not much. In order to save his marriage, Mr Amokachi did the unthinkable, Mr Uche “ crossed the line” to be with his wife, a wedge comes between Kunle and Sam and the former’s wedding is hanging on a thin line… while some got infected with the virus, there was continuous drama and even violence happening just outside the hospital. He would rather die than stay in on the 21 days mandatory isolation period. Sunday aka Sunny (Josh2Funny) got the ticket out of poverty, in the heat of the moment he encountered a minor accident that led him to the hospital…Ĭhiamaka ( Chioma Akpotha), the nurse at the hospital got entangled in a life threatening situation all because of N10,000!įinally, Mr Omar ( The Oyibo□) who carried the fictional Holo virus into the country was just a stubborn goat who refused to listen.Īll of these people and more were put under lockdown immediately Dr Njoku (Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde) realized that Mr Omar was infected with the Holo virus and no one was pleased about it, especially Sunny who had just 4 days to cash out of poverty. She arrives late and had incomplete documents, she too was led to the hospital… Sam ( Jide Kene Achufusi), friends with Kunle is the best man and business partner and against his wishes, Kunle led him to the hospital…Īngela ( Ini Dima-Okojie) desperately needs a job and finally got a chance to an interview. Kunle (Ben Touitou) is on his way to the altar but his compassionate heart diverted him to the hospital… Mr Uche (Tony Umez) only wanted his paycheck so he could be home to take care of his sick wife but he must deliver just one more parcel at the hospital… Mr Amokachi ( Deyemi Okanlawo) was having an extra activity which he shouldn’t have engaged in, while his pregnant wife was in dire need of him at the hospital… The movie started with almost everyone in a hurry to get to their lives… I loveeeeee Lockdown own! It was an errrrr… □♂️ An electrifying twist of relatable events that captivates the heart! Oshey!! □□□♀️ Synopsis Lockdown reminds me so much of the 5 star-rated Nollywood (Nigerian) movie, 93 Days – both movies share similar storyline: A Nigerian medical doctor (Ameyo Adadevoh), who was credited to have curbed a wider spread of the Ebola virus in Nigeria by placing their patient zero (Patrick Sawyer), in quarantine despite pressure from the Liberian government.
